Starting in Tae kwon do at 9 years old, Jimmie Romero moved on to Boxing at the age of 20 with Don Familton. He was then introduced to Erik Paulson (light heavy weight Shooto Champion of the world) and was quickly taken under his wing and began his training at the Inosanto Academy Of Martial Arts.

There, he trained with Legendary Dan Inosanto, Ajarn Chai, Jean Jacques Machado, as well as continuing his tutelage under Paulson. Jimmie fought in the Southern California Muay Thai circuit from 1995-1999 with record of 8 and 1.

Following his wins, Jimmie was made an instructor at the Inosanto Academy. Retiring from the fighting, Jimmie moved on to become a head instructor and MMA coach at the infamous Legends Mixed Martial Arts Center for two years. It was there as an instructor and coach that his 15 years of experience in striking and grappling led to winning records of a multitude of both professional and amateur MMA/Muay Thai fighters.

Since then, Jimmie has developed an extensive list of winning competitors under his guidance, both starting out and advanced. Now opening up his own MMA/Muay Thai gym, Jimmie's goal is to use his experience and skills to keep his fight team on top as well as breed another generation of champions.


Carlos has dedicated the last 21 years of his life to the beautiful art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He began training at the world famous Gracie Barra academy at the tender age of 6. By the age of 11, he became a national title holder and a Pan American champion in the adult division at the age of 16. His talent and technical abilities has won him over 20 Gold medals in national and international tournaments (see list at bottom of page).

Carlos received his Black Belt in 2003 from Ralph Gracie at the tender age of 21. Within months of becoming a black belt, Carlos won the US open in a beautiful display of technical jiu jitsu.

Since becoming a black belt, Carlos has developed a passion for teaching and is producing talented and technical jiu jitsu fighters at an alarming rate. Combining his vast knowledge of jiu jitsu and an incredible ability to communicate and teach effectively has made Carlos a standout instructor.

-Assistant Wrestling coach at El Camino Real High School

A 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon do and a Brown level Mixed Martial Arts fighter under Jimmie Romero. Undefeated in Muay Thai and 4 and 1 in his amateur MMA career.


Begining his training at The Inosanto Academy, now a purple level Mixed Martial Arts fighter under Jimmie Romero. a record of 5 and 1 in Muay Thai and 1 and 0 in his new MMA amateur career.
